Guava & Cheese Empanada

Empanadas are meant to be eaten with your hands which makes them the perfect food for events or when you are on the go. They come out HOT so you really have to be patient and careful how you eat them as to not burn your mouth. The best way to attack an empanada is to bite the corner off and squeeze the ends letting the steam out. We serve the empanadas with our Aji Sauce. Aji Sauce is a fresh cilantro & lime sauce that you can literally pour inside your empanada. This does two things. The sauce cools down the inside of your empanada and secondly adds a delicious burst of flavor.
